SOLHA

At SOLHA Organization, we believe that meaningful and lasting change begins within communities. SOLHA is a national humanitarian organization committed to supporting vulnerable communities across Afghanistan, with a particular focus on women and children. Our work is guided by humanitarian principles and socio-cultural values of Afghanistan. These are the key pillars that shape all our actions, decisions, and programming. SOLHA works closely with communities to address urgent humanitarian needs while promoting resilience, dignity, and sustainable development. Through interventions in women empowerment, health, education, WASH, food security, livelihoods, and protection, we aim to provide life-saving assistance while strengthening the capacity of communities to recover and thrive. We follow a community-centered and evidence-based approach, ensuring that local voices and priorities remain at the center of our work. Communities are engaged throughout the project cycle from needs identification and planning to implementation and feedback ensuring programs are relevant, inclusive, and sustainable. As a women-led and child-focused organization, SOLHA is committed to empowering women, protecting children, and promoting equitable access to opportunities and essential services. We also value strong coordination and collaboration with communities, local authorities, partners, and stakeholders to maximize collective impact. Transparency, accountability, stewardship, and partnership are central to our organization. SOLHA is proud of the trust it has built within communities and its growing contribution toward improving the lives of vulnerable families affected by crises and hardship. Moving forward, SOLHA remains committed to strengthening local capacities, upholding humanitarian values, and contributing to sustainable and locally driven solutions across Afghanistan. We welcome collaboration with donors, humanitarian actors, and development partners who share our vision for a resilient and empowered Afghanistan.
